PHP guidance for website owners
Know whether action is needed.
Take one clear step at a time.
PHP Site Safety Check helps you understand whether your website’s PHP version still receives security fixes and includes the PHP security fix checked by this app.
What happens in ChatGPT
- Tell the app the public website you own or manage.
- Read the verdict card. It tells you whether to act or find one more detail.
- Get one hosting instruction at a time, or a message you can send to your host.
You stay in control
The app reads a public homepage. It cannot log into your host, change settings, send messages, or schedule reminders. Never share passwords, API keys, or payment details.
What this check can tell you
This release checks PHP support dates and the October 21, 2026 php2shell advisory. It does not scan plugins, themes, malware, private pages, or every vulnerability. A supported PHP version does not prove the whole website is secure. Hidden versions require confirmation from your hosting company.
Host instructions are checked against official documentation; they have not been tested in every hosting account.
Public listing availability depends on OpenAI review. Use the app through its official ChatGPT listing when available.
